Family and Couples Therapist

Liz is a kind, non-judgemental and collaborative Family and Couples Therapist who understands that every family is different and has unique strengths, relationships, backgrounds and challenges. Liz helps individuals, couples and families talk safely about their challenges and stressors, which are often sensitive and distressing issues, in ways that respect each person’s unique experiences and helps families to make useful changes in their relationships and their lives. Liz will work in partnership with you and your family to understand what has happened and is happening now, sharing her specialist knowledge and support when helpful.


Liz has worked with infants, children, adolescents, couples and families in relation to a variety of difficulties, including experiences of trauma, relationship ruptures, grief and loss, parenting difficulties, conflict, mental health, drug and alcohol, family violence and disability.


Liz is a qualified Social Worker and has completed a Master’s Degree in Family Therapy through the Bouverie Centre. Liz is a professional member of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) and a registered facilitator of the Circle of Security Parenting program.
