Psychologist

Emily is a registered psychologist who utilises an empathetic approach whilst aiming to empower clients to apply psychological strategies beyond the therapy room. Emily aims to support clients to live a life that is rich and meaningful by understanding each individual’s struggles.
Emily has worked with clients in a number of settings, most recently with Tweddle Child and Family Health Services, where she worked with individuals and parents who experience, anxiety, depression, stress, and parent-infant attachment challenges during pregnancy and the post-natal period. Emily also works with adolescents and adults experiencing a wide range of difficulties such as depression, generalised anxiety and worry, low self-esteem, stress, perfectionism, and poor overall wellbeing.
Emily takes a varied therapy approach, applying strategies from acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), schema-based approaches and cognitive and behavioural therapy (CBT). Each treatment plan is always designed accordingly to the unique needs of the client, their personal goals and situation.
