Dr Rebecca Kam

Clinical Psychologist

Rebecca is a Clinical Psychologist who holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and is well-versed in Cantonese. She has a warm and engaging approach in working with individuals across the lifespan- children, adolescents, adults and families- with experience in a range of settings including public hospital and community mental health services. Rebecca also works in a public specialist youth mental health service when she is not at Valley Family Health.


Rebecca is passionate about empowering individuals with evidence-based strategies in promoting growth, change and living up to one’s potential. She uses a range of therapeutic approaches tailored to individual needs along with differing cultural and spiritual beliefs, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. Rebecca is experienced in working with people with a wide range of difficulties including stress, depression and anxiety, trauma, psychosis, mood disorders, challenging life transitions, social difficulties, and vocational (school, university or work) concerns.
