Ashkan is a Provisional Psychologist completing a Master of Clinical Psychology at Monash University. He has worked with clients across the lifespan and is especially interested in supporting culturally and linguistically diverse individuals, young people, and families. His clinical interests include anxiety, depression, trauma, neurodiversity, family-related difficulties, men’s mental health, and performance psychology. Ashkan draws on evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, to help clients make sense of their experiences, develop practical skills, and move towards meaningful change. He works in a warm, respectful, and collaborative way, and aims to create a space where clients feel safe, understood, and supported to be themselves.
